The 31st M.A.G.M.A. gem show was a great weekend for everyone. We had nice weather for a change, a little warm, but not freezing or flooding!
We had all of our awesome regular MAGMA vendors and welcomed some new vendors to the group. Everyone had a great time as always and we are looking forward to the next show in September. For many of us, MAGMA is family. Vendors and customers. And it is always great to hang out with family, so we look forward to every show.
I want to thank all our vendors for being committed to our show. You make the show great! Thank you to Stephen and Santana (Natural Born Jewelers) for helping me with set up days before the show starts and breakdown at the end. Thanks to Reddeer and Bill Stine for helping with breakdown Sunday. Thanks to the kitchen crew Shriners for providing such great food and drink all weekend. And thank you to our customers who make our show a regular part of their lives every three months when we come to town. All of you are the best!
Bryan Harris was on site early set up and brought along his two rock pups.

Two hours into the show on Friday and the lot was already packed.

Lauren Bell came up for the show and brought along the Steampunk Prospector.

Longtime MAGMA member, Doris King getting some raffle tickets.
Doris, daughter Michelle and the grandson.
Jessica helped out over the weekend with the raffle. The money generated from the raffle went to benefit the Southern Appalachian Mineral Society (S.A.M.S.)
'That Camping Couple' stopped by the gem show. They were in town visiting the Crabtree Emerald Mine and I guess making a video. They have a youtube channel about rockhounding.
Speaking of Crabtree. Reddeer added this cool Crabtree emerald specimen to his collection. One of our longtime MAGMA members is selling off some of his collection and this was in the lot.
A couple of shots of my special display on Cooper River fossils and artifacts. We didn't have WLOS at the show this time, but I did get an interview with '828NewsNow' Here is the LINK.
Saturday morning.
